This blog runs a few plugins that encourage people to add to the conversation of each blog post. It does this by passing a do follow link to the blog of the person making the comment.

So anyone that makes a decent comment will get some link love. This will help them get some natural search engine ranking thus improving their visibility and traffic. They may also get traffic that click through on their link. However, banal comments like “good site” or something that doesn’t really add to the post are unlikely to get clicked on. Thus, if they are like this I will probably not accept them.

If you can keep on the topic of the original post and add some new insight or point of view then the comment will certainly be accepted. If you can add reviews or insights on products you have used or tried then even better. Thanks.
